Win Bigly is the book that will diffuse the hysteria that has been ravaging America since the 2016 election.

Before I continue have you read about how snobs hate Trump?
The following post isn’t a review of Win Bigly but a recommendation.
Let’s get going.
With the midterms, America could be facing another bout of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
What is Trump Derangement Syndrome?
Have you heard of Trump Derangement Syndrome?
It affects half the US.
Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is hating Trump so much that it distorts your view of reality.
Take a look at this:
This is a friend of a friend’s Facebook profile. Their identity is tied up with hating Trump.
That’s a sign you have Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Here are some excellent examples of TDS captured on camera.
And
You understand that TDS isn’t medically recognised, but there are symptoms that you may be able to spot.
How to tell you have TDS
Before we begin remember I’m not a doctor. Please consult a medical professional if you feel you’re exhibiting symptoms of TDS.
I’ll list three symptoms of TDS
You said you were moving, yet you remained. During the run-up to the 2016 election, you heard celebrities vowing to move to Canada (never Mexico) if Trump won. Two years on and you’re still here.
You probably think with this next bit that I’m being sarcastic, but I’m not.
If you lived in a country where you thought that the leader was going to execute people in the street would you stay? If you thought the leader was painting a bullseye on the country for nukes, do you think the best place for you is the 10 point zone?
Again you might think that I’m being snarky, but I’m being serious. If the country you live is so bad, why are you hanging about? If you’re in danger why stay exposed?
I live in Northern Ireland. In Northern Ireland, things aren’t perfect. Here’s the thing: none of us are under any obligation to stay. If I didn’t like Northern Ireland, I’d be gone.
You think that Trump is a genius/doofus, the puppet of Putin who wants to start a war with Russia.
I understand that there are times when you have to hold two contradicting thoughts at the same time. The mental gymnastics when it comes to Trump however, are Olympic level.
Trump’s an idiot who stole the election from people who have spent their whole lives in politics because he’s a mastermind genius. Does that make sense? Oh and he’s also Putin’s puppet yet he keeps delivering sanctions that hurt mother Russia.
You think that African Americans and Latinos are White Supremacists.
You’ve seen this clip.
Have you seen this meme?
You cannot see an individual outside their politics.
There is this need you have to categorise people into a black/white either/or binary. You can’t understand people’s thoughts and opinions as a spectrum with shades of nuance. It’s one or the other.
There are more symptoms of TDS, but we’ll stop it here for now.
Who is responsible for TDS?
I’m going to say that I don’t want to point fingers but let’s be honest with ourselves, that’s precisely what is going to happen.
The main culprit is the mainstream media. They’re stirring up and inciting hatred. The Democrats to a degree but the media more so. Afterall “Things are fine” doesn’t exactly sell out. No news is good news and the mainstream media know that bad news is a lot of news. That means more clicks, more money.
The media and pollsters spent the run-up to the election telling people they had nothing to worry about. Trump’s campaign and this will soon be a distant dream.
Only it wasn’t a dream.
It was a brave new world that they woke up to.
Now they’ve realised they’re wrong. It was a shock to the system. Instead of taking stock and reflecting where it went wrong, they doubled down.
The problem is that with every “bombshell” discovered they’re presenting themselves as ridiculous. Trump by comparison is seen as reasonable. The media meanwhile is showing themselves to be the sore losers they are.
Win Bigly: The cure for TDS
What if I told you that I don’t think that Trump is the mad lad that they portray him?
Is there a method to the madness?
What if there was a book that stiped back the curtain?
Win Bigly just might be the cure for TDS.
Scott Adams, as well as being the creator of the Dilbert comic strip is also a trained hypnotist. He recognises hypnotic qualities in Trump.
Scott sees the world through the “Persuasion filter”. He tells you that Trump is a master persuader.
The election of Trump, as Scott puts it, has punched a hole in reality. Trump’s poll has shown to us that facts don’t matter. You may think that you’re rational and logical most of the time. Scott tells you that you’re not.
I’m a big fan of Scott and his explanations about how reality works helped me.
Let me tell you about how his writing helped me.
During the run-up to the election I thought that Hillary was going to start a nuclear war with Russia. Looking back it’s so silly. This fear dragged me into a depression. I started planning an exit from society. The reason I didn’t follow through because when you look up nuclear payloads, you get a bit demoralised.
Scott helped me realise that I was suffering a delusion.
This is what it’s like everyday for the anti-Trump patrol. As fun as it is to watch them meltdown every day I want them to get the help they need.
If you haven’t read or watched any of Scott Adams before, start with Win Bigly.
Win Bigly takes you through Scott’s journey of how he came to see Trump as a master persuader. By the end of it, I see him that way too. It’s not just Trump. Win Bigly will help you understand the world at large. It will help you see things through the persuasion filter. You and I like to think that most of the time we’re rational and use logic to navigate life. Scott in no uncertain terms tells us that we don’t.
You probably won’t read the book, why?
You won’t read it because there’s a part of you that likes the doom and gloom. There’s a part of you that loves the outrage.
If you ever get tired of being upset, you know what to do.
Did Jon Stewart read Win Bigly?
Jon Stewart has returned from the wilderness. He appears to be the voice of reason that both the Dems and media haven’t heard in a while.
Watch this clip:
Stewart gets it.
Stewart appears to be wise to Trump’s gameplan. He knows that Trump is playing them and they continue to take the bait.
Makes you wonder if Stewart has read Win Bigly and cured his own Trump Derangement Syndrome.
The question is will Democrats and the media stop overreacting? Will they stop looking ridiculous? Will it be six more years of Trump and Trump derangement syndrome?
Only time will tell. As much as I enjoy Trump and his hijinks some are getting tired of winning.
Kieran – Great write-up.
I tool learned a whole new way to the world, by finding Scott Adams.
I am rather a-political in that I hate both Republicans and Democrats. I came to learn that they are both pretty much the same and the nothing is that different when either of them have power.
In 2016, I had next to no interest in anything. Wasn’t going to watch. Wasn’t going to vote. Every now and then, because it was impossible to miss, I’d see a story about Trump and I’d chuckle. Part of me like him (I knew he was smart and successful) and wanted an outsider to shake things up. Part of me laughed with the media as Trump ‘appeared’ to be gaffing all the time.
Then the 1st debate happened. I didn’t watch. didn’t need to. Cause the media forces the recap down our throats. I saw Megyn Kelly ask Trump a stupid, irrelevant question about calling women pigs and bad names and Trump responds with “only Rosie O’Donnell” and then when Megyn kept it up, Trump used the time to put the blame for many of societies’ woes on ugly political correctness.
I loved it. I thought it was brilliant. I’d been waiting for someone to punch the media right in the face like that.
Anyway, I returned to my normal life.
Trump, supposedly, kept gaffing and gaffing and gaffing. And we were told that things were getting more out of control, and that he was the craziest, loosest cannon that had no idea what he was doing at all and could barely read at a 2nd grade leve.
And yet, he kept rising more and more and more in the polls. And clearly was becoming the run-away GOP winner, despite what the media was telling us.
I found myself really liking it… but I was so confused how it was happening. My Cognitive Dissonance was skyrocketing, because in the reality I had lived for 30+ years, anytime the media went after someone, they destroyed that person and their life essentially ended.
But Trump was winning. It was going backwards, as I expected it to. The difference between me and the crazy NeverTrumpers, was that I kinda liked Trump. I totally related to his way of doing things.
So around December 2015, I started searching around for people outside the mainstream media (since they were all obviously failing to see how), to explain in simple terms how what Trump was doing was working.
Then I found Scott Adams.
And everything fell into place. The ah-ha moment. My Universe opened up at that point and I’ve never gone back/
Scott explains Trump perfectly. He explains the media perfectly. He explains human nature perfectly.
Once someone understands the world… and how human beings view it (or in reality, hallucinate it), you’ll never view the world the same again.
Loved this article. Loved @realThe_Politik comments. I felt the exact same way about Trump and the 2016 election. I will say…….totally not tired of winning!!!!
Never forget: CBS fired company executive Hayley Geftman-Gold, after she criticized some victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting as “Republican gun toters” who did not deserve sympathy. Hayley Geftman-Gold, who was a vice president and senior legal counsel at CBS in New York, also wrote on Facebook that she had no hope that Republicans — whom she called “Repugs” TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME affects people of ALL races, genders, religions, socioeconomic status, etc…but ONLY Democrats. MAGA 2020!
