September 2019 has been a fantastic month.
Personally, it has not been so great, but from a work point of view, it has been my most productive. This won’t be a long post. I’m going to write a bit about this and that. To give you an idea of what has been popular on kieranmajury.com.
If you’re thinking to yourself that this all a bit rambly then you would be right it is. Do you want to know why? Here’s why, if I want my site to score well on search results, then I have to hit a 300-word minimum requirement. I’ll also have to increase the key phrase density. In this case, the key phrase is September 2019. If you see September 2019 anywhere else in this post, it’s because I’m trying to get that sweet, sweet green light on my SEO.
Anyway, let’s do a little run down on the more popular posts this month.
Deadville where I went wrong: Read this for a candid look into a writer who has made peace with his work. I made a film, and while it is no Citizen Kane, it’s no, some terrible film. The main problem was the script. Had I known then what I know now it may have been a different story? Well, it would have been because I would have rewritten the whole thing.
Simplified Story System: This is still one of the most important posts that I have written on here. It takes the years of reading and research carried out by yours truly and boils it down into a single post. Keep an eye on kieranmajury.com because I will be going deeper into this system.
Northern Irish men don’t date them: This is an old one from last year, but it still manages to keep showing up in the charts. Who knows, have I found my niche? Is this where my focus should go? It doesn’t interest me, but it’s good to know it’s there.
Chicken Box 26-9-19 Stand upset the second draft: This was a stand-up script that I used as the basis for my performance. It has got some excellent feedback. There’s some edgier stuff and some dad jokes. If you’re a stand-up, you have a moral imperative to make the audience uncomfortable.
Hope you enjoyed those articles and gave me lots of clicks. In all seriousness, this has been a great month and hope you continue reading. Don’t worry about Space Janitor, I’ll talk about that in a while.
